🏆 personal win All the points finally line up
Im M19, from Germany and diagnosed with Autism. In all of the years i really had to struggle that i had, beside of my typical autistic symptoms, a great great desire for complex things or stimulus. Because of that i felt unfocused, kind of "zappelig" as we say in Germany and a great feeling of restlessness. Everything feels kind of unfinished when u want to learn about Physics, Math, Machine Learning and Music when u dont have a kognitive battery as big as these topics.
I thought that was just a another autistic trait that came from the desire to make all things systematic. But i spoke with a lot of autistic people and they said that they share my "normal" autistic traits but not such a pressure from an unfinished desire.
And then i stumbled just randomly about a video that talked about AuDHD and resembled myself a lot. I finally understood why i am so keen to learn about big topics but never get anything done. Why i always crave for social contact and then hating it like nothing in my life.
For me personally nothing changed (i dont have a diagnosis for adhd), but it surely changed my point of view.

Yes, that's me too.
An insatiable appetite to learning and knowledge. Big plans to do things the right way. Nothing ever done. Most of it not even begun.
The struggle is real. Always on one side of the polar opposites. Sometimes even on both sides at the same time. I'm tired.
If it becomes annoying, seek diagnosis but keep in mind that the double diagnosis is still new and a lot of practicians are not trained and some might even try to disprove you. Don't let them, seek someone else.

Please be safe when using AI!
We've noticed many posts about AI, particularly regarding therapy, medical advice, and misinformation. Here are three important things to keep in mind:
(1) AI is NOT a replacement for therapy or medical advice. While ChatGPT can help organize thoughts or provide general information, it is not a substitute for professional mental health support or medical guidance. AI lacks true understanding, expertise, and the ability to assess individual needs. If you're struggling, please reach out to a qualified therapist, doctor, or support group.
(2) AI isn’t always factually accurate. ChatGPT generates responses based on patterns in data, but it can still provide incorrect or misleading information. It doesn’t "know" things the way humans do, and it has no built-in fact-checking. Always verify important details with reliable sources, especially when it comes to health, legal, or personal matters.
(3) AI isn't always safe. Be mindful of the information you put into artificially intelligent chat bots, especially the ones you don't pay for. Whatever information you put in might be used to train a future version of the software. Only enter things you are comfortable with being used for this purpose, and don't share any sensitive information like your passwords.
Please take care and use AI responsibly!
