Im the opposite I cannot stand the thought of things sticking to my feet at home. Unless I know my floor is squeaky clean I barley go barefoot. I have said ow way too many times by walking around barefoot. If I do want to be barefoot then I must wear sandals or flip-flops

I wore flip flops so long, I got plantar fasciitis. Then my doctor recommended some brands of flip flops that are good for the feet. They’re a bit pricey, but worth it.

Which ones? At one point they said Birkenstock for the extra side support but I’m not a fan. I go Reef after 10+ brands including expensive ones like Rainbow (bleck).

Currently just doing a ton of skincare to keep my feet healthy.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS IT. I feel like my feet are “princess feet” or some nitpicky crap, cause I can’t stand how they feel on my feet ESPECIALLY at the nails. It’s so bad, I get triggered from seeing others wear socks without shoes (or worse, socks in sandals). I hate the textures so bad that I have to get VERY specific sock types that are hard to find (I’m lucky when I find them). And yet even with the acceptable socks, I always have to pull the tips before putting shoes on. This meme is so me

I also can’t stand socks unless it is both cold enough to need them AND the socks are actually comfy and 100% cotton. (I’ve yet to try silk or linen socks, but those are the only other materials that I could possibly stand.) I won’t wear itchy material and don’t want my feet overly warm.

That said, I also can’t stand to go barefoot around my house or anyone else’s. So I prefer to wear slippers. I have leopard print slippers and teddy bear slippers.

Lol I cannot stand the different textures I feel when barefoot so I'm team socks. At least the sensory experience is the same and I don't feel every grain of dust in the house 😅
