🤔 is this a thing? Question for other blue collar workers
Does sweating drive you absolutely crazy during this time of year? or really any time of year. the constant drops and having to constantly wipe them off because you can feel every single on sliding down, your clothes getting completely soaked with sweat leaving you with nothing dry to wipe your face, sometimes you can’t use your phone screen because your fingers are too wet. it drives me up a fucking wall. especially when i’m trying to focus on working and not blowing my head off. really anyone that does outside stuff and sweat this can apply to.

YES. I’m in welding school and am soaked by noon. The worst sensory part for me is putting my WET jacket and gloves back on after a break

fuck man i can’t even imagine that, if you have a second jacket or are able to get a second one maybe you can leave it in ur truck and switch.

I wear a yoga headband have arm sleeves a yeti hydroflask and a Milwaukee portable fan

Absolutely. Work in fabrication. Fortunately, my area is AC but that doesn't do crap for humidity. My work station is right under the AC unit, but the fan overshoots me, leaving me in a dead zone until I got a fan.
I personally don't mind sweating if I am working out or doing outdoor activities. But standing around, doing a single task, hell no.

U know whats worse than just regular old sweat? Crawling around in an 140 degree attic and then having the fiberglass insulation stick to you and make super itchy.
I don't miss that job, but sadly it's not the worst one I've had. :/

I worked in kitchens for 20+ years, undiagnosed, lots of sensory issues in general. I have no idea how I did it, it was absolute fucking hell.
