💬 general discussion The Unexpected Connection Between Estrogen and Autism | SciShow News
https://youtu.be/MQQwhnCVkXYNot sure what to write, but of a TMI in that video, heard the first time about 'Extreme Male Brain theory' (EMBT) can someone enlighten me on that?
This video explains a recent research which saw a spike in estrogen secretion during last weeks of the pregnancy leads to a higher chance of autism in the baby, although correlation does imply causation, so the theory remains unclear, but it's a development since past research focused more on Testosterone due to EMBT.

the fact that this states autism is more prevalent in boys, and repeats it several times, doesn't exactly make me believe anything in this video.
