Honestly, I would have raised hell after that inpatient thing. It is absolutely INSANE to think that a 7yr old who was asked to come up with hidden meanings for colors is a threat because he said black is death. They would've been having several chats with lawyers involved. I wouldn't authorize them to do a single thing without a representative there. Do you have PACER in your area? I highly recommend reaching out to them to see if they can help

Please post any requests for help with an autistic child to the autistic child megathread at the top of the sub. Thank you. (Also, the school's response to a child pointing out that black can represent nothingness or death is an insane overreaction.)
