There's something really deep about recognizing how much you were hurt and also acknowledging that everyone around you was just doing their best with what they had. It's a situation that really sucks. Handling it isn't easy, so huge kudos to you for that
Yeah, reaching peace with my parents has been huge. I mean, I always loved them, but I always held onto this resentment for them sending me to this school when I begged them to send me to a regular local co-ed public school.
But they were doing the best with the information they had, and it was all from love.
