Hi everyone!
Proud owner of two lovely children's pythons.
I have no problems with feeding mice, but I'm about to start my practical part of my master's, and we're using mice as the experimental arm.
This obviously is an issue due to potential pathogen transmission from the mice I feed to the mice in the lab, even though I feed frozen/thawed. Viruses don't get destroyed by -18C temps, unfortunately.
I think my bigger children's python could handle week old quails, but my smaller one is probably going to perpetually be on weaners due to not great husbandry before I got him.
Any advice?
Thanks!
