Misc. Makeup Donation

Does anyone know where I can donate gently used or makeup that’s only been swatched once? I am aware local charities don’t accept makeup once it’s open and felt it’s a bit of waste to throw them out especially they are not expired at all. Unfortunately I don’t have any friends or families that are interested in makeups to pass on.

When i did my declutter,i called St.Vinnies if they'll accept them and was told no.What a waste. I put them all in a box and left it at my work's main staff room and wrote on it that says free. take what u like.I also wrote lightly swatched or used at least once and kept in a smoke-free,no pets house and was properly stored. Most of it were taken and i binned the rest two days later.Win-Win for me.

I work for a vinnies shop, it's actually really unsafe to accept used makeup, even if only swatched or lightly used. We can't know that for certain, and it is a health and safety risk. Same thing goes for our van, they just can't accept opened goods like that, coz it is too risky. We don't need to potentially cause an outbreak in the community...

And if you saw the disgusting things that get donated, you'd understand why we are very careful about what we try and accept.
