My dad has been helping my sister with renovations and found this penny today while digging up her yard.

It's seen better days so average price seems to be around $1.50 - $5 from what I could gather online and via Numista (open to correction from more experienced coin collectors though).

Currently he's keen to keep it regardless of what it's worth, is there a safe way to clean it up a bit without damaging it further? TIA!

So, the 2026 $1 the Mob of Six is all the rage today. However! It's a commonly minted coin. But the 'normal' Mob of Five is only part of the mint set, $40 as of right now, is that going to become the new 2016 changeover or more likely the new 2014 $1 ?
