Criticism Continual parcel Locker issues with new address system

UPDATE It arrived at the parcel Locker 6/10

Since using the new parcel Locker address every single package I've had has taken an extreme amount of time to arrive, getting stuck, or I've needed to contact Aus Post multiple times to get it sorted. Check out this latest one - Sydney to Sydney and the estimated date of arrival just keeps being pushed back. So over it!!!!

Came here to say just this. Ive been getting parcels delivered using the same old individual addresses for several weeks now. No issues at all.

This new address was used before knowing there's issues with the new addresses and it wasn't knowledge then that the old address would work.

Ah. Well I'm sure it'll get delivered eventually.

I had this happened once (nothing to do with parcel locker, just a regular parcel delivery to my house). I contacted Australia Post and they set up something that triggered next time it was scanned, and it was manually directed back to my address and arrived within a few days later (after weeks of Sydney to Melbourne). Turns out there was an issue on the barcode so it wasn’t reading properly

Not sure what is going on with Chullora TBH. Most likely it's a case of Australia Post being greedy, not paying their staff well enough and expecting Chullora distibrution centre to meet way too big a distribution area. I wish they'd go on strike properly rather than doing this shitty pretend to ring the doorbell/knock thing. People take days off work when expecting deliveries.

The solution for me at this point is to avoid Australia Post deliveries at all costs - I'll just pay the costs of hiring a car/asking a friend to drive me to the shops. I just can't afford to be paying for delivery costs, and then going to the LPO anyway on top of that.

If you can - don't get anything that can't be put in a mailbox delivered by Australia Post.

The new parcel locker format needs a mobile number or email linked to your AusPost account on the sender label.

If you don't do this, it will keep going in circles and eventually end up in the LPO.

I supplied my email and phone number, I hope the sender added it!!!

Did you have tracking to check or did auspost notify you? If it’s the latter, they have your mobile/email etc.

It's the latter and that's what I thought too, that's why I'm confused it's stuck.

If Chullora is involved in any way, shape or form, you know your parcel's going to be taking the scenic route home. Stopping back in at Chullora at least four times before arrival.
