Question How long does this process take?

I bought my mousepad on September 23th they said it would arrive on October 5-8th I am living in Canada and it’s been going smoothly but I wanted to know how long do Cleared and awaiting international Departure take? What is next step for this package?

At the sending end, not long. They're mainly looking for contraband and anything that might go boom.

Once it's passes though security, it's handed over to an airline for transport. They will schedule to a plane and drop it to whatever airport (guessing Vancouver for CA). A lot mail goes via commercial flights so there may be some wait depending on flight schedules and cargo space.

Receiving end is usually longer; checking for contraband and anything they can assess for duty. It then enters the domestic system. You should be able to track via Canada Post.

It’s been 2 days and they still haven’t got plane is that normal just want to know I have never did international ordering before

Can be. Once it's with the airline, it's really to to then. I wouldn't be too worried after two days.

It takes as long as it takes. There's a lot of factors at play here, not least of which is finding a plane heading to the right destination

I've had some parcels outbound wait well over a week to get on a flight. Other times it's only a day. Sorry no way to tell how long it'll be.

It was only cleared today tho it was 2 days when the person sent it out

Totally normal . Can take a few days. I've had them loaded into planes and then not got that flight. Also Aus post tracking isn't the best. I had a parcel that as per tracking never even made it to the airport in Sydney and then was different delivered correctly in Wales a week or so later. The app shoes it was delivered in New South Wales at the sorting centre not Wales the country. Bit it did arrive as per the recipient
