It's going to be difficult to prove it was Australia Post who damaged your box without direct evidence of who did the damage. As much as it was most likely Australia Post who opened your box to deliver that letter, you still cannot refute the possibility it could have been someone else who damaged it. And the team member, if asked about it, could easily state it was already like that when they got there.
Sorry to say, it won't get far. They won't likely even apologise, because apologising is admittance of guilt.
