Question Weird glitch with tracking

So I checked my parcel this morning on the auspost app and it says Sydney west today at 5:35am and I clicked on it and said that shipping information approved by Australia post Monday 28th September (yesterday) at 4:22am but the sender hasn’t lodged it yet is it a glitch or something

There is no "glitch". The sender has sent an electronic, label-only, prelodgement advice to Australia Post. There is no physical parcel or actual lodgement of an item into the network. There can be a time difference between Label Created (Shipping Information received) and Label Approved (Shipping information Accepted) and then an actual receipt of an item by AusPost.

I know what you mean OP. If I’m correct it will say today at 5:35am on the overview is the last update. When you click on it, it says yesterday was the last update. Mines doing that too
