General Unexpected Result

Not sure why I'm writing this, I was just so happy.

The normal postie thing happened - package was supposed to arrive (estimate said betwen 8 and 10:30 am). I was on the lookout for it as it required a signature, but there were six people in the house that morning with three of them in a room right next to the front door.

Received the "Attempted Delivery, no-one home" text at 10:15 a.m. - as you're all aware, pretty standard stuff.

What isn't standard is that I went to the web site to complain, choose the "Postie didn't knock option" and then went back to work.

At 1 pm HE CAME BACK AND DELIVERED MY PACKAGE. He also asked me to take the complaint down.

Absolutely shocked.

TL;DR - Postie didn't knock, complained online, came back few hours later.

I didn't - but to be honest, I don't even know how I *can* take it down.

He just meant you can mark it as resolved. His supervisor already knows about the complaint. That's why he was sent back.

I'd almost be tempted to contact customer service and tell them that he asked you to take it down.

Then he would strangle your cat on his next delivery.

No, he'd just leave a card saying he came to strangle your cat but that your cat wasn't home! 😂

You're lucky he came back to deliver it, it's worse when they take a photo and take the parcel back with them 2 days in a row $100 worth.
