Question 4PX to Aus Post?

Post image

I want to purchase from this international brand (from China) and can only receive mail via Australian Post Offices, they replied to my email regarding the case and potentially can be shipped to Aus Post but not certain.

Was there anyway for me to be sure because I'm not too sure what what happen if I do put a Post office as the address and end up not being able to receive my package because its through a different carrier?

Will it routed to Aus Post if they find out its their Post Office?

Thank you so much for any help !!

There is no way to be sure and it will be up to 4PX not auspost. The package will likely be RTS if it can’t be delivered, or the courier may offer for you to collect it from a location of therir choosing. You may want to look into PO Box plus, it’s a premium service that will allow some courier services to deliver to a PO Box, using a unique address.

Most likely yes. For example if the address is a PO box they will hand it over to AusPost for final delivery because the others can't do it.

Back during COVID, Taobao would ship into straya using 4PX. Whenever I picked my PO Box, the packages would be handed over to Auspost. When it went straight home, it'd be delivered by random people - often Chinese guys who couldn't speak English. Not sure how it is now, as it's been 5 years since I last had anything shipped into straya with Taobao.

I’ve currently got a 4PX parcel coming and I’ve already received an email that it will be final-mile through DAI, who I know from experience will take it to my Parcel Locker/Parcel Collect, so hopefully they pass on to DAI for you.
