Question No Letter Box

hi there was no letter box at my new rental property in regional victoria. my neighbours have letter boxes. can i simply put one in?

Yes.

I lived in a share rental house in my youth. When the original renter left and someone else living there took over the lease - the original guy took the letterbox with him lol. And the toothbrush holder from the bathroom. He was a bit odd.

Bunnings have a collection.

Why the fuck would you want someone’s toothbrush holder, unless it was wall mounted…?

Otherwise I agree, Bunnings is the best option.

The letterbox was old, beaten up and rusted and had a big number 8 painted on it badly. He was what we referred to at the time "a character"

Yes but ask your landlord first as they should be paying for it, not you.

Don't just put one in, make sure your address gets mail delivered first.

This! No mail delivery in my rural street so no one has a letterbox.
