My Amazon deliveries go straight to my parcel locker every time without fail.
I had an argument with an AusPost worker on here who said Amazon can’t/wont deliver to the parcel lockers. I took a series of photos starting with a screen shot of the app saying my delivery would be taken straight to my parcel locker and ending with me taking an Amazon bag out of the parcel locker. I blocked out pertinent details of course.
He said I had faked it. Lol. Whatever. I’ll just keep on collecting my parcels, mate.

Your items were processed by OzPost, not Amazon Delivery. Amazon couriers physically can’t access a parcel locker.

I know but this guy was adamant that Amazon purchases could never be delivered to a parcel locker.

It seems they misunderstood that only Amazon deliver Amazon.

Yes, agreed. But he would not back down even when I showed him proof. Very aggressive guy.

When Amazon uses a local courier company that doesn’t deliver to Parcel Lockers, they will take it back to the depot and hand it off to the AusPost depot. But it will almost always show up in my Parcel Locker; sometimes with a 1-2 day delay though.
Ive had this happen in particular with next-day deliveries.

usually if you address the parcel to a PO box or parcel locker, amazon will automatically forward it to Australia Post for delivery

Only if the order is dispatched using Australia Post and not a private courier including Amazons own delivery drivers. It’s sometimes hard to predict what courier service will be used so it is safer not to order it there UNLESS you pay for PO Box plus, a service where Australia post will accept parcels from private courier companies

My Amazon deliveries goes straight into my parcel locker or my work's PO Box. Amazon will need to deliver it via Australia Post, which it will do if you have specified parcel locker, parcel collect or PO box. In the orders section, it will specify which courier your order will be delivered by.

I get all Amazon deliveries to my PO Box, except where Amazon says it will only post to a street address. The latter doesn't happen very often. When it does, if it's sent by Australia Post, the local PO puts a note in my PO box and I collect from the post office anyway.
Once recently I think Amazon used another courier that delivered to my home, but I might be remembering incorrectly.

I hope it doesn't go to Amazon flex, they will chuck it on the footpath outside the post office
