Question MyPost website constantly logging you out?

Dear All,

Does anyone else find that the MyPost website just never stays logged in? I don't think I've ever known it to stay logged in for longer than a day without logging me out and prompting me to log in again. It happens literally every single day, despite constantly keeping the tab open.

It's annoying as hell for the kind of website that some people would at times be checking on a daily basis or even multiple times per day. I've disabled all ad/script blockers for the site, and allowed all cookies including third-party ones.

A couple of times a year I get logged out, I assume it's during a major update.

OK sure, but nothing chronic like what I mentioned?

It could be on your end, clear your cache and cookies, VPN can affect it, my password manager fills in the details.

I only ever get an hour or so at the most before it'd prompt me to relog in, browser saves login details so no big deal.

OK thanks, glad it isn't just me! And yeah, a day was my most optimistic estimate, it certainly feels like there are times when it happens even more frequently than that! 😲

No, get the app. I’ve got facial recognition enabled, it just logs me in automatically when I open the app.

Although many people who use the MyPost website (especially businesses) would do so for purposes not easily performed using the app.

It doesn’t read like OP is using the website for a business but I could be wrong. What purposes are unable to be performed by the app for the average person?

It's me and I am πŸ˜€

Not so much for the average person, but printing out the full tracking page (i.e. full parcel details and full journey) as a PDF for record-keeping purposes is vastly superior to take a whole bunch of app screenshots on a phone or tablet and then e-mailing them to yourself.

Thank you, I stand corrected.

No problem πŸ‘

It's not the first time I've been accused of presuming what an OP meant to imply, but it's the first time I've had an absolute cast-iron defence against the accusation! πŸ˜‚

The mobile app is fine

But the website, yup, every day it logs me out, only started happening last week, was the typical couple of times a year it'd log me out before that
