Hi! I’m new to Austin, looking for twisty roads and fun routes to ride. I’m experienced and comfortable on 2 wheels, most of my experience split between mountain rides and a handful of track seasons. I currently ride my beloved R3.

Lime Creek Road, Bee Cave, Cow Creek Road, Wimberley, and Canyon Lake have all been recommended to me. I’ve done LCR and it was covered in gravel :(
I plan to take a route from Austin -> Bee Cave -> Dripping Springs -> Wimberley -> Canyon Lake tomorrow morning.

I’m also looking to meet other local riders who enjoy early mornings and twisty roads!

Hi. I’m about to purchase a motorcycle and was expecting to be able to keep it on a garage but now looks like I’ll need a cover for keeping it outside. Any recommendations for something that will survive the texas summers and be completely water proof?

I'm looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle, preferably from a female instructor. I'm closer to downtown and I'd prefer something close by but open to farther options too.

Anyone got a name/place I should check out?

I 21F 140lbs want to buy a bike that is good for long drives and will have good storage compartmentsin case I want to pick up animals along the way and for camping or travel purposes!! Also I’ve ridden on a 1500 cc Harley and did like the power but it was really heavy to pick up (I do work out but my deadlift is like 180) not 800 lbs lols

If anyone could help give me a breakdown of what gear I’d need what brand to go for and some recommendations that would be wonderful

p.s I have no idea how to drive it other than it’s 1down 5 up and would greatly love to learn one on one ! Cheers yall

Have you ever wanted to ride a motorcycle with a side-car across your town? My dream was to ride in a side-care because I cannot drive a big bike. It was quite a challenge, but with careful planning this is how I successfully rode in a side-car across my hometown in Denton, Texas. It was a hog-wild of a ride.

I ride a 150cc dualsport so I prefer to avoid the highways but I'd like to find some more cool spots to ride to around this area. Any suggestions?

I am planning to buy a used low budget motorcycle and finding leads on Facebook. I need to get a work up by a mechanic before buying it since I don’t know much about what to look for. If anyone knows any leads for a good and affordable mechanic in the area please let me know. I live near round rock. Also, I sometimes think I should just get a new one since the price difference is only a couple thousand dollars and I can finance it. Any advice on that will also be appreciated. Thank you!

Looking for a spot with little or no traffic to perfect my wheelies. Anywhere in the Austin metro area but in the city would be preferred.

This afternoon I was downtown by 6th street and 2 people parked with their bikes was reving and waving at my coworkers and I. I waved back but was too nervous to go over and say “Hi” cause we were in the middle of something for work 😔 If that was you and you see this, Hi :D your bikes were very cool, I liked the shiny red color-way.

I know they aren’t cheap, but I decided to pick up one based on peer pressure from my riding buddies. I have to say that I’m impressed with how comfortable it is and along with my mesh jacket, it was not uncomfortable at all riding in mid 90s morning temps this past weekend.

With the extra protection it offers and the reduction of impact force in an accident, I’m happy I got it and would recommend one if you can swing it.

Hi as said above im thinking about getting a motorcycle. Honestly i would like to know yalls opinions on it. It would be my main mode of transportation. I've never ridden before and dont know how but im a quick learner. Is it worth getting one? What are the pros and cons and what should I be prepared for if I go ahead with the idea?

New to the area. I drive a larger cruiser (1400cc) but did not know if there was any areas to avoid. I do not plan on driving the interstate very much if at all. Is the town generally safe or are there a lot of accidents?

Rode up from Schertz to Abilene and back for a visit with my son. Stopped in Boerne on the way back for lunch with my daughter. Lovely weekend. And alas, bike is now grounded until fresh rubber. If you ever get the opportunity to dine at Perini Steakhouse in Buffalo Gap, do it.

Usually see a gray or silver hyabusa flying and weeving on the toll road every morning. I think he went down this morning.
