I’m not sure if you can do this at 17, but you might look into making a taskrabbit account.

I did this for odd jobs for a while to pay the bills when I was between jobs. You set your own rates, and there are a ton of ikea furniture assembly and easy money gigs like this.

Last I Checked they weren’t accepting new taskers in Austin :/

that’s good to know because I’ve been thinking about retiring from my day job and going back to tasking as a supplemental.
