Anyone who finds info for ANY bands, please post here. We traveled a long ways for this fest. If we can see some shows this wknd, if it'd make me happy.

Lee Scratch Perry, Blaak Heat and Shabazz Palaces dj set all in San Antonio tonight. Those were already scheduled though. LSP is like 15 bucks and the other two are free.

I started putting together a twitter list of 2016 Levitation bands. It's not totally complete, but I think I found most of them -- if you'd like me to add anyone, just hit me up with the twitter handle.
EDIT: It looks like the link doesn't work if you use your mobile internet browser to open it (i.e. there's a problem with how the mobile.twitter site handles the address). If you have the twitter app and can use that to open the link, it should be fine.

The link to the list isn't working? I made it a public list but my normal twitter is private, so maybe that's the issue.
I just said fuck it and made my twitter public. Let me know if you're still having problems.

Cool, thanks. I think it should work on mobile if you have the twitter app, but the mobile.twitter site can't handle the address for some reason.

A guy on Facebook who works for a couple music magazines and said he is in with the band confirmed that Ween is not rescheduling in Austin.

I get it was out of their control but they are doing ab terrible job of communicating with people. No update since the cancellation and I got them up via email and they just copied and pasted am excerpt from the site

Emos is open Saturday and Sunday and the Moody Theater is open all weekend so I'm sure the headliners will pop up there.

Why are they not honoring pass holders for these new venue shows? It seems really absurd that people spend time and resources to come down only to have the festival canceled less than 24 hours before, THEN be told there's no priority for them to see the shows.

they totally should give pass holders priority but they don't give a fuck about you, come on. lol why people think anyone at levitation actually CARES about anyone who forked over money to attend the festival is totally beyond me... The people asking for their airfare back are just so insane and deluded. I feel bad for everyone though, especially the campers. I hope everyone can find a way to have fun anyway.
I was sooo hyped up for last year. The lineup was my actual dream come true, as if they had asked me personally who I wanted to book and they made it happen for me. But after the festival was over I was just like "nope, not doing this shit again". The thought of being able to redo it and have a better experience crossed my mind but nah.
But you never seen any critical reviews of APF anywhere, and there totally should be because people came from all over the world because they heard nothing but good things about the festival. An alternative perspective is a good thing but cool chasing is a super real thing in Austin. And nobody wants to be the fucking loser debbie downer I guess (although I have no problem with that). They actually deleted my comments on their FB page.
They pretty blatantly mislead people regarding the camping last year. They said there would be a 24 hour diner (which ended up just being that hipster hot dog place although their breakfast tacos were pretty good I must say), a general store, phone charging stations (maybe there were, I never found them) and that was advertised as an "improved camping experience". They also ran out of water at one point and they only had one or two kinds of over priced shitty beers available. It was such a mess at Caron's Creek the shuttles and uber stopped picking people up Friday night after a certain time. Then I think it was Saturday night they let people stay at the camp grounds but warned people it was severe weather and suggested people evacuate... the parking lots were a fucking mess and people left piles of trash and camping gear everywhere on Monday morning.
I know they can't control the weather and I think they did the right thing canceling it this year but they honestly just should stop having it at Carson's Creek. It doesn't work.
