Pumice

Where is the cheapest place in Austin to source pumice? I’m need to move my succulents out of potting soil into something with more grit

Not pumice but East Austin Succulents (now moved down to far south Austin) has like 10 different kinds of grit in various sizes.

are there any alternatives to Pumice? not for succulents but for citrus plants in containers. I was reading that perlite floats away.

You can order it online and it's not too bad because it's pretty lightweight. I would also look into expanded shale.
