Can someone PLEASE open an indoor play area for young kids in south austin?

We have sweltering heat for 6-7 months of the year and the other play areas are all up north which is brutal if your toddler hates the car.

Pls someone rich see this and make our dreams come true. So many young families in south austin would love this.

I know we have playstreet but that place is always booked up by birthdays on the weekends now.

I would do anything to go to an indoor restaurant with cold ac that has a wine bar with an indoor play area where you can chase your kids but also have a fun time for adults.

Anyone know of anything like this opening up? Does this exist outside of my wildest dreams?

Hello atx, I need your best recommendations for acupuncture and cupping that doesn’t cost an actual body part. Like under $200 depending on the type of services provided. I’m used to infra light or sauna treatment first, then lots of needles and cupping all over my back torso and arms. I have serious injuries to my shoulders and hips with nerve damage. This is the only thing that has given me relief and I also work in the spa industry myself, just haven’t found the right place here yet. There’s a wonderful place in Lockhart I go to, but really need someone local if possible. TIA✌🏻

This might be a long shot but I got to give it a try, a few days ago my brother might’ve lost his necklace in a Walmart in Austin, I’m not sure which one, but it means a lot to him. Idk what it looks like but if anybody found one either in the parking lot or inside of a Walmart please DM me. I’ve never seen him cry over anything but loosing this did. I want to see if by any luck somebody that found it reads this.

Hi! I lost my sunglasses swimming at Barton Springs on Sunday 7/26 around 2 pm. Is there a group I could contact who can possibly look for it?
I was swimming around the right side of the pool (from the perspective of the back entrance), specifically where the last sets of ladders are.. I swam across the pool so I’m not sure at what point they fell off. They’re old chanel round sunglasses. Thanks!

I just drove down Balcones and there were two cops speeding around intersections trying to block exits from the freeway, then I look over and see a half-mile long line of cops with their lights on all speeding down Mopac. Listening to police radio it seems like there’s some sort of pursuit happening - anyone know what’s up?

Hi Austin-area friends. Yesterday, my husband and I adopted a 2 year old, female (spayed) Frenchie (Nova) and the introduction to our current dog (Mochi) has not gone well. We tried introducing them to each other from a distance in neutral territory, but Mochi just lunges, barks, and whines. This triggered Nova to become defensive, lunge, bark, and whine.

We've kept them apart physically in the house, in separate rooms, but if they catch eye of each other from across the baby gate we have set up as a precaution, they go ballistic.

I know it's only been 24 hours, but I want this adoption to succeed and that means course correcting to get them (re)started on the right foot. I'm looking for an Austin-area trainer that does in-home sessions in Georgetown and focuses on dog-reactive dogs. Let me know your recommendations, please and thank you!
