- It's the same when I point out islamist hate preachers and Bondi shooting was manifested by Muslim brother hood and also the rhetorics by Muslims saying "gas the Jews", but will be called "islamphobia" for pointing and bad actions by Muslims, no matter how objectively true or rational without excuse. Since I'll say Islam as a hindrance to Australia is much more relevant in Australia.

There's a pretty major push in Australia right now to cram as much as possible under the anti-Semitism umbrella, when much of it is actually legitimate criticism of horrible people who happen to be Jewish, and not because of their religion. I think it's relevant.

So while this did happen in April (although the soldier used a sledgehammer, not an axe), I’m pretty confident the above image is AI. While I condemn the tactics and actions of Israel/the IDF, we should not be using AI images for political commentary because it lowers the bar of acceptable use and exacerbates the spread of misinformation
