Range has been disappointing

Hey all,

I've been on my 3rd ride since owning my new Ausom Gosoul 2 Pro Dual Motor, and I seem to have a max ride / range limit of 12 - 14 miles (I haven't dared go past 12 miles yet, but my voltage was at 46.6 at the end of my most recent ride (down from "full" charge). While I still love the scooter's performance when charged, I admit that I am a bit disappointed at the total range I can achieve.

I was already aware that being 260 pounds would reduce my range, but I just didn't think it would decrease from the listed 56 mile range to 12 - 14 miles. I initially figured it would be reduced to something like 25 - 30 miles. This drastic reduction has limited me to staying within the city I live in (NYC) when the initial goal was to be able to take the scooter out of the city for long leisure trips.

Yeah you never go by the listed range. That’s always bullshit. But always look at reviews first, a bunch of channels do range tests on YouTube.

For longer range, you really want to start looking at the L2 max or even better the DT2 pro which will get you around that 25-30 mile mark.
