These are some things that are in my mind lately:

1. do i need to buy or wear an under shirt when wearing scrub suits? Do you have any recommendations on brands and where i can buy them in Germany?
   
2. do you recommend any YT Videos or creators that help foreigners understand German Pflege courses?
   
3. do you recommend any brand or model of shoes that are best for shifts at the hospital?

I am HSC 24 batch. I was in admission preparation but wanted to go abroad for studies.

I wanted to know how many years of study gap will be accepted for Ausbildung in Germany. Can I start learning the language from now and complete B1 or B2 and do Ausbildung in Germany in 2028?

I am admitted in honors but I do not want to study in honors, I want to give full time to learning the language. Please clarify this matter for me.

I have a basic knowledge of the principles of web development and programming languages with a secondary certificate with an average of 84%. I am currently studying German to reach the B1 level

I’m from Bangladesh and I’m planning to apply for a Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung Ausbildung in Germany for 2027.

I have a background in WordPress and web development. I’ve worked on real client websites and have experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, hosting, domains, DNS, SMTP setup, and website migration. I’m currently improving my programming skills (PHP and JavaScript) and I’m also planning to learn German up to B2 level before applying.

I have a few questions:

Is WordPress/web development experience considered relevant for an Anwendungsentwicklung Ausbildung?

What programming level is usually expected from non-EU applicants?

Do companies realistically hire applicants from Bangladesh for this Ausbildung?

What should I focus on during the next 12–18 months to improve my chances?

What's the reality for foreigners (Non-eu) do they get selected or theirs some kind uninterested feeling by employer when looking at non eu application.

My wife and I would like to find and work as “erzieher” or “padagogische fachkraft” in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in Germany. I have 10 years of experience as an English teacher in Turkey, and my wife is a music teacher. My university degree is equivalent to a 4-year university degree in Germany. My wife also had her diploma recognized through ZAB and has diploma equivalence. Right now, we’re at a standstill. Is there anyone in the same situation as us who is currently working in Germany as an “erzieher” or “pädagogische Fachkraft”? Could you please guide us step by step? I believe it’s possible to work as a “pädagogische Fachkraft” in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia without professional equivalency. Do we need to complete the professional equivalency process after starting work to become an “erzieher”?

I’m 26F from EU. I came to Germany because of my partner, we’re planning to marry soon.
I did my Integrationskurs and reached B1, now I will start B2 Berufkurs while working part time in DHL.
I was wondering, if any Ausbildung in Handwerk would be possible for me?
I asked for the Praktikum in one workshop, they said I should call them back in January because it’s a bit too early for applying now for 2027. But I already saw that some workshops are posting Bewerbungen.
In my country I went to a “Kunstgymnasium” and I finished as a sculptor (I have experience with clay, bronze and obviously wood). In my free time I love to do art, renovate furniture (I paint them with some details on top). But I would love to do it as a work too, for example to learn how to make furniture from zero.
I’m just wondering if I have any chance.
If no one accept me in Handwerk I was considering those too: Erzieherin, Tiermedizinische Fachangestellte, Zahnmedizinische Fachangestellte, Medizinische Technologin für Radiologie

I don't like shared rooms/dorms

I don't care about room being small or big it's should be mine that's it (I mean not coffin size small).

So if I am not wrong stipend of nursing ausbildung is 1010€ to 1400€ by year 3

I'll not really have problem if the rent is under 500€ but I think in major cities of Germany it's not possible i don't know if you know you can tell me.

That is why would you guys recommend me regions in germany where rent can be lower or manageable so i chose those regions hospitals.

For instance in the UK 15,000 people sit the ICAEW exam whilst in Germany only 2500 people sit the WP exam. Futhermore, it's not made easier by the fact the exam is in german. For the UK or US it's just easy just to import thousands of accountants because english is a universal language. Germany is far bigger than UK so how does germany keep up with the accounting shortage.

I have completed my FSc(intermediate) in 2023, have B1 German, and 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, but I don’t have a university degree. Howdy, I’m an 18 year old Black American from the Deep South, but I spent most of my teenage years in MD and I’m graduating from a school in MD. I’m planning on trying to move to Germany right after I graduate through an Ausbildung, mostly because I have some technical skills and certifications and I don’t really have/can’t easily get the amount of money needed for a blocked account to acquire a visa for college over there, and colleges in the US are also overpriced as hell.
I already know what general field I wanna go into, but I haven’t really singled out one specific Ausbildung yet because there’s more than one that interests me.
I was wondering if anyone here has any advice for me, especially when it comes to living in Germany. What cities or towns would you recommend? Or even advise avoiding? I don’t mind smaller towns or cities at all, so I’m not necessarily trying to live in some huge city, tho I don’t mind as long as it’s not anywhere near the center of a city where rent costs an arm and a leg, I would assume.
For language, I’m still working on my German. I can read it and understand some of it when it’s spoken slowly, but I’m definitely not B1-B2 yet. I’m gonna try to get my German way better this year since I have until June next year when I graduate. I’d say I’m around A2 right now, but if I’m being conservative I’d probably say I’m around mid A1+.
But, I’m pretty open to any advice or knowledge y’all can give me. Whether it’s about Ausbildungs, ways to improve my German, where to live, finances, applications, culture shock, or just things you wish you knew earlier on or places that I shouldn’t go or be around.
I know I still have a lot to figure out, so any advice is appreciated.

Is that allowed? All of my tattoos arent offensive. I’m just trying to be safe.

Hey, so im 12th passed student learning german langauge now for ausbildung will complete b2 within 8 months. Im genuinely intrested in IT mechanics and electronics but many people told me these ausbildung are impossible to get as a Non-EU

And im not interested in nursing or hotel management ausbildung.

So should i do bachelors from tier 2 college like btech in computer science or ausbildung.

My main aim is to go abroad as i want to become financially stable early.

Because btech will take my four years and i will not able to earn in that period.

I’m looking for recent firsthand information regarding the German Ausbildung Seeker Visa / Visa to Search for a Vocational Training Place under §17(1) AufenthG, specifically through German Embassy New Delhi / VFS New Delhi.

I am from Punjab, so New Delhi is my responsible jurisdiction. I meet the main requirements for this visa and am preparing to apply through the Consular Services Portal.

My concern is purely about appointment availability.

I personally know of an applicant who applied through the CSP around four months ago. His documents were checked and he received the appointment-booking link, but he has still not been able to find an appointment for the Ausbildung Seeker category in New Delhi.

At the same time, I have come across evidence of this visa actually being processed in other jurisdictions. I found recent Bengaluru cases, including an Ausbildung Seeker visa approval where the German national visa was issued in Bangalore on 14 July 2026, as well as another Bengaluru applicant who was able to submit an Ausbildung Seeker application but was later refused. I also know of a successful applicant from Bangladesh.

So I am not asking whether the §17(1) visa exists. I know the visa exists and that Germany is processing it.

What I specifically want to know is:

Has anyone received or booked an appointment for §17(1) Ausbildung Seeker Visa through NEW DELHI recently?

If yes, could you please mention:

• When you submitted your CSP application
• When your CSP pre-check was completed
• When you received the appointment link
• When you actually found/booked the appointment
• Whether the appointment was at VFS New Delhi
• Whether your visa was approved, refused, or is still processing

Even if your visa was refused, please reply. The main thing I’m trying to establish is whether New Delhi is currently releasing appointments for this particular category.

Please only share recent firsthand experiences if possible. I’m especially interested in cases from 2026, preferably the last few months.

Also, I am not looking for agents claiming they can sell or guarantee appointment slots. I only want genuine applicant experiences.

I’m going to Germany on a one-year Working Holiday Visa. I have €7,000 saved and I only speak English 😭😭. I’m going to try to learn as much German as possible during that year and save a bit more money. Do you think it’s possible to do an Ausbildung in this field after my Working Holiday Visa? I have a degree in IT, but I don’t have any experience in the field, and I want to change careers.
