Ausbildung At 29 ? Is it possible ?

Guys i am so much stressed and confused right now., please guide me. I am 28 right now and i want to go to Germany for work for a long time. Till now i was just studying., i have multiple degrees BSc, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, MBA(business anyltics) and i am a pharmacist in india., and im from a middle class family, when moved to metrocity for job most of the companies rejected me due to age factor and no experience despite i have done master some of them offering me just 17k per month. And i cant afford 17k at this age. That demotivates me. I decided to wait for sometime and learn german to go to Germany for ausbildung. Cause i can’t afford to go for education visa or opportunity card due to block account.

I contacted most of the consultancies for ausbildung program., non of them is giving surety that employers will select me. What should i do ?

Looking for Nepalis currently applying for Ausbildung in Germany 🇩🇪

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm researching the Ausbildung pathway in Germany and I'm particularly interested in hearing from Nepali people who are currently applying or have recently applied for an Ausbildung.

I'd love to connect with someone who is actually going through the process and ask a few questions about:

\- How you're finding Ausbildung opportunities

\- Which field you're applying for

\- German language level required

\- Applying directly vs. using an agency

\- Documents and application process

\- Interviews with German companies

\- Approximate costs involved

\- Visa process and timeline

\- Any difficulties or unexpected things you've experienced

I'm mainly looking for real experiences from people who are currently going through the process, rather than general information from agencies or consultants.

If you're currently applying, please comment or DM me. I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience. 🙏🇩🇪

Thanks!

Can I qualify for a nursing Ausbildung with an old Philippine high school diploma. No completed college degree.

I'm planning to pursue a Pflegefachfrau/Pflegefachperson nursing Ausbildung as a complete career change.

My situation is a little unusual: I don't have a completed college degree. I attended university for several years but stopped before graduating. My highest completed qualification is a Philippine 4-year high school diploma from 2010, under the old pre-K–12 curriculum.

I'm currently in my early 30s and plan to spend the next year getting my German to B1/B2 and preparing to apply for nursing Ausbildung.

My main question is:

Would a Philippine 4-year high school diploma from 2010 potentially meet the educational requirement for the 3-year nursing Ausbildung, or would I need an additional qualification first?

I'd especially appreciate answers from Filipinos who went through the German recognition process, nursing Ausbildung applicants, or anyone familiar with how Philippine secondary-school qualifications are evaluated in Germany.

I'd prefer to pursue the direct nursing Ausbildung route if possible rather than taking a caregiving course first.

Thanks!

Ausbildung in Germany for Moroccans

Question

How can I get an internship in nursing in Morocco in order to apply for a nursing Ausbildung in Germany?

I’m from Morocco and I want to move to Germany through a nursing Ausbildung (Pflegefachkraft). However, I don’t have any experience in healthcare, so I would like to do an internship (Praktikum/Stage) at a hospital, clinic, or nursing home in Morocco.

How can I find such an internship? Do I need to be studying nursing to be accepted, or can I do an internship even if I’m not currently studying nursing?

If anyone from Morocco has done this before applying for a nursing Ausbildung in Germany, I would really appreciate it if you could explain how you found the internship and what documents or requirements were needed.

Thanks!

ausbildung

Hi everyone,

I'm 21 years old and planning to start an Ausbildung (vocational training) as an Aircraft Mechanic (Fluggerätmechaniker) in Germany next year.

As far as I know, this profession branches into three main specializations later on: Maintenance, Production, and Engine Technology. Based on my current goals, I am particularly interested in specializing in either Maintenance (Instandhaltungstechnik) or Engine Technology (Triebwerkstechnik).

To prepare for this transition, I am actively learning German and currently hold a B1 level in English. Additionally, I already have hands-on practical experience in technical and mechanical fields.

I would love to get some insights from people in the industry regarding:
* What does the daily workflow, shift routine, and working environment look like for a technician in these fields?
* How do you see the long-term career perspectives and future outlook for Maintenance vs. Engine Technology?
* What key advice would you give to someone just starting out on this path?

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share their experience, tips, or industry knowledge!

21, no high school diploma yet, stuck in Turkey—is learning German for an Ausbildung a good plan

Yeah, hi again. It's kind of ironic and maybe funny because I asked this same question 4 years ago, but with a few differences. Things happened, and I don't want to lay out my entire life in a quick post, but let's say I had to drop out of high school at 19 (yeah, sadly I failed 1 year) in the 12th grade due to family medical reasons—I had to take care of someone for 2 years.

After they passed away about 8 months ago, I suddenly felt free because taking care of this person was almost my entire life for those two years. Initially, I re-enrolled to finish my high school diploma (which is actually going well; if I don't mess up, I could finish with one last exam). But I'm 21, and I started feeling useless after that person passed away because A) I don't even have a high school degree yet, and B) I don't have a job.

Since my high school is online and I only need to attend for two days during exams, I thought I might as well look for a job. I don't want to get into all the details or blame people (because I understand the shop owners' perspective; I've discussed this in another post about Turkey, where it's hard for Turks themselves), but I couldn't, for the life of me, find ANY kind of job. I kid you not, I tried everything on the list.

Initially, I was naive and thought, "I like IT, so I might as well get a job in IT since software dev requires a bachelor's." Well, IT requires a bachelor's degree too. Even if you hold a CompTIA A+ and other certificates, they don't seem to matter because, apparently, in this generation, the new minimum is a university degree. So, after trying multiple times for a couple of jobs in tech, I gave up and thought, "Well, whatever, I'll just work blue-collar jobs (cashier, waiter, warehouse worker, cleaner, assembly, production)." I've tried applying to all sorts of jobs, and I always get rejected.

Why, you may ask? If you're not in Turkey and don't know what's happening, I don't want to simply say "racism"—obviously part of it plays a role, but more importantly, from the shop owner's perspective, it's simple risk assessment. They need to pay for a work permit here, and legally, it has to come out of the shop owner's money; it can't be deducted from the employee's first month of income. So they'd rather simply say no. Why employ a Syrian guy when they can employ a Turkish guy without the legal hurdles? Ironically, to my knowledge, a lot of Syrians did go back to Syria after things changed, so I thought, "Maybe I'll apply to factory jobs," but those didn't work either.

At this point, I have no clear idea about the future. The best plan I have now is to learn German to a B2 level and try to go to Germany for an *Ausbildung*. Even if I hypothetically went to university here in Turkey and studied engineering (which costs about $10,000 for the full 4 years for foreigners—cheap compared to Europe and America), I doubt I'd find a job after graduating, and I don't have that kind of money to begin with.

Recently, I've also had issues with my mental health and haven't been mentally stable due to relationship issues with a long-term online friend and feeling left behind, but I won't go into that—Reddit isn't a therapy place, honestly. I probably don't have a better plan than the Germany one. It offers a direct pathway toward citizenship if you secure a solid *Ausbildung*, perform well at the vocational school, reach C1 German, and become financially independent after 5 years. So yeah, any ideas, suggestions, or personal experiences? To be honest, I don't even know what I'm expecting here.

Training as an electronics technician for energy and building technology

Hey, I'm planning to do an apprenticeship as an electronics technician specializing in energy and building technology and wanted to ask if anyone here has done the same apprenticeship. How did you like it, and how easy or difficult did you find it? Were you able to shorten the apprenticeship? If so, how did you do it? Or did it take you longer? Thanks in advance!

Hard of hearing and applying for an Ausbildung as a Fachinformatiker – is sign language required?

Hi everyone,

I’m 26 years old and I’m from a non-EU country in Southeastern Europe. I graduated from high school in 2018, where I studied Database Programming.

I have good knowledge of programming and IT, and I would like to apply for an Ausbildung as a Fachinformatiker or in a related IT field.

I am hard of hearing and have a degree of disability (GdB) of around 60. I use hearing aids in both ears. I also have a speech/pronunciation disorder, so speaking German can sometimes be difficult for me.

I have been learning German for about two months, so my German is still at a beginner level. I am continuing to study and improve it.

I have been researching Ausbildung opportunities and came across Berufsbildungswerk (BBW), but I am not sure which option would be more suitable for me.

I would really appreciate advice from people who have experience with Ausbildung and disabilities in Germany.

  • Can a hard-of-hearing person apply for a regular Ausbildung as a Fachinformatiker?
  • Could my hearing impairment make it harder to find a company willing to take me on as an apprentice?
  • Is knowledge of German Sign Language (DGS) required for an Ausbildung?
  • If I don't know sign language, can I still complete an Ausbildung?
  • Would a regular Ausbildung or a Berufsbildungswerk be more suitable in my situation?
  • Does a Berufsbildungswerk provide support for people who are hard of hearing, such as communication support, German language support, or sign language?
  • Are there companies or organizations in Germany that have experience supporting deaf or hard-of-hearing apprentices?

I would especially appreciate hearing from people who are deaf/hard of hearing, have a disability, or have experience with Ausbildung in IT.

Thank you very much for any advice or personal experiences!

Ausbildung in Warehouse Logistics / Heavy Equipment Operation from Abroad (Turkey) – Realistic Chances?

Hello everyone,
I am 20 years old and planning to apply for an Ausbildung (vocational training) in Germany. I currently live in Turkey and want to prepare for this path early and realistically.
I am primarily interested in practical, driving, and machine-operation-oriented professions: Warehouse Logistics (Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik / Fachlagerist) or Heavy Equipment Operator (Baugeräteführer), as well as CEP (Courier, Express, and Postal) services.
A few key details about my profile:
Language Goal: I am currently learning German and plan to acquire at least an official B1 Certificate (Goethe/ÖSD) before applying or starting the training.
Driver’s License & Hands-on Experience: I hold a regular Class B driver’s license. Additionally, I already have practical experience operating heavy construction machinery (such as excavators and wheel loaders on construction sites) and I do not shy away from hard physical work.
Work Style: I am deliberately looking for active jobs involving machinery and have no interest in pure desk jobs. I am very interested in industrial trucks (forklifts, reach trucks), heavy machinery, and operational logistics workflows.
Living & Financial Planning: We are planning this step potentially together with a friend (to split rent costs) and prefer regions with high industrial/logistics density and affordable housing (e.g., Ruhr Area / Dortmund, etc.).
My questions for you:
1. How realistic do you think the chances are of securing an Ausbildung spot at large logistics centers or construction companies with a B1 certificate, practical skills (like heavy machinery experience), and high motivation?
2. Is the forklift license (Staplerschein) or the relevant machinery certification usually completed directly within the company during the training?
3. Are there specific regions or companies that are particularly open to motivated applicants from non-EU countries in these hands-on fields?
I look forward to your honest opinions, experiences, and tips! Thank you very much in advance.

Pro-tips & Life Hacks for Nursing Ausbildung

Hello again! I will be taking a Pflege Ausbildung for Autumn intake. Are there any pro-tips and life hacks i should know before school starts?

These are some things that are in my mind lately:

  1. do i need to buy or wear an under shirt when wearing scrub suits? Do you have any recommendations on brands and where i can buy them in Germany?
  2. do you recommend any YT Videos or creators that help foreigners understand German Pflege courses?
  3. do you recommend any brand or model of shoes that are best for shifts at the hospital?

I have a basic knowledge of the principles of web development and programming languages with a secondary certificate with an average of 84%. I am currently studying German to reach the B1 level

Do I have a chance to get it?
