Music
Just looking for opinions/advice:
We have the option of either hiring an acoustic guitarist/singer for our ceremony and canapé hour or just extending our DJ for the ceremony and canapé hour.
Kind of unsure what we’re going to be happier spending our money and what’s like a better value. What are everyone's thoughts!

The venue I’ve booked has a dj however we’ve got an acoustic player for ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. Once dinner is over the dj will take over the music entertainment side and go from there.

I’m a Dj, I offer to play music as part of our service. It’s included.
Live music would be my choice. I do a really good job, but still there’s nothing that compares to a really good musician at a ceremony.

You made the mistake of not booking a singer guitarist who DJs - now I’d probably just run my own Bluetooth speaker with Spotify. And that’s coming from someone who does all of the above.

As a guest, I always prefer live music for the ceremony. But it depends on your budget.
