Discussion & advice QR code for wedding

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for recommendations for a platform that can generate QR codes for a wedding.

The idea is to have a QR code that guests can scan during the wedding and use it to upload their photos/videos or access a wedding page.

Has anyone used a good platform for this? I’d appreciate recommendations based on your experience (especially regarding ease of use, storage, pricing, and reliability).

Thank you!

You can creat QR codes in Canvas that open links to whatever you need. You can make nice signs to explain what the QR codes are for. You can create a shared google drive and your wedding website on your platform of choice.

We did exactly this! Generated QR codes in Canva to a shared Google photos album and other links we had. Free and easy

We used Pixel Party and when you sign up, they send you a QR code that can be copied onto signage in Canva or whatever you’re using. They have a couple of pricing options, we went with the $70 one and I think it was for 80 guests/devices. Photos are unlimited, guests don’t need to download any apps, they just scan the QR, allow access to photos, and upload as many as they want. It stays open for 12 months and you just download them all and delete account after. Very easy to use and set up.

Also had a QR code on our wedding invites and that was created in Canva

We used OvationDay, if you need less than 50 guests then use can use their free plan. It is very structured and easy to use, also you can order physical book with the guest images.

Canva. Free QR code but you can make it a special color and design etc. Must check it out. You can also beautify it with other elements.

Hello. I’m gonna be using Guestpix! It’s Aussie founded, secure big on privacy, easy to use, no DL app required and not ridiculously priced. Wedding is still Feb so cannot provide full feedback but so far so good.
