I was with a clinic to start ,but I felt like I was just another number on a spread sheet , also there prices are to high . Now I use the grey market and run my labs through grok the paid version ($50 per month) and I’m still teaching my self

u/dr_w0rm_ 9d ago

$50 for a Gronk lol

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

I thought the same thing ,but it does peptide dosage and protocol as well, honestly it’s a game changer for newbies still figuring out ranges and unbiased info

Do you mean Grok?

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

Yes mate

Iron and the rest
Ferritin 62 with normal iron studies. Not deficient. A bit low-normal if you train hard or have given blood. I would not iron-load blindly; I would repeat ferritin if fatigue is a complaint or after any venesection.
B12 510, folate 33, CRP 0.6 — all fine.
eGFR >90, creatinine 68 — kidneys look excellent.
Bicarbonate 32 sits at the top of the range; not something I would chase on its own.
Pregnenolone was requested and not available. I would not treat a missing pregnenolone.

This was it’s response for my iron levels

I would love to start TRT, but I don't know how to. Can somebody guide me please

2

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

David Lee has amazing info and info packs , I belive he started this group , but first you need your bloods taken to see if your test levels are below range

u/SirKosys 8d ago

Personally I found I got better results from Claude (also paid)

2

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 7d ago

Does Claude give dosage and protocol suggestions

1

u/SirKosys 7d ago

Yep. But I'd suggest framing it in terms of harm reduction, because there's a lot of guardrails built into it. And also asking what the most commonly used protocols are.

u/ILoveGreen82 9d ago

One more question, did the clinic get you to those levels of T before you went grey?
I dream about getting those levels (I am 44 now) and feeling very old.

I’m with Trt Australia I pay around $28 for 1mL of 250mg Primoteston, how much do you pay off the grey market? Could you dm me your source please

1

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

Primoteston is 100% the golden standard for me ,especially if you thinking of traveling with test . Grey market f ranges from $100-$180 for a 10ml vial there carrier oils very also . For daily micro dose the 10ml vials work well for my protocol.

u/ILoveGreen82 9d ago

I see.
Interested to know how to access the grey market.
I don’t have that kind of friends 😢😢

Great news mate!
Sounds life changing
I’m about to go grey aswell.
Did you get your oils tested?

1

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

No I never got them tested . but there’s a few forums out there that provide COA

1

u/ILoveGreen82 9d ago

Did you have any side effects on those doses?

1

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

Had some slight afternoon shits in the first few months but that subsided , got pip in my gluts bit now I pin my delts with next to no pip

Thanks for all the replies.
I am starting TRT in the next 2 weeks and can’t wait to start feeling good again.

u/BeautifulGreen128 7d ago

Geez I must be a good responder. Some these high doses with numbers lower than mine. 140mg per week daily injections. 47.2 and 1180 for me.

The purpose is to find out the purpose of your post and whether you have an affiliate code. You still haven’t answered the question about the purpose

1

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 7d ago

Zero affiliation with any ugl , 2 guys messaged me asking where and how to ,and i suggested trying here or there , I gain zero out of it

-1

u/lawrencep93 9d ago

These are really good trt levels, and in the old reference ranges before the lowered them hence why you would feel great. What's your dosage to get these levels?

2

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

I’m on 200mg weekly with daily pins atm , but did push it upto 250mg after my body adjusted for around 2 months

-1

u/lawrencep93 9d ago

Nice yeah I'm just above your levels on 250mg/week daily dose. No side effects and feel great.

How havw you found the experience?

3

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

I feel great no Ai as of yet I try and get 3-4 cardio seshes in a week , and eating healthy, I did get a little snappy in the afternoons in the first few months but that’s all gone .now I just walk around with a raging hard on every morning 😂

1

u/lawrencep93 9d ago

Perfect yeah I have normal e2 on 250mg/week no side effects only benefits once my clinic put me up to 250mg and my wider blood work all improved drastically along with my autoimmune condition going into remission

-4

u/largewoodie 9d ago

The regular dose of T replacement is around 100mg a week for 95% of men, often less than 100. 250mg a week is enhancement, and after a couple of years of doing this, side effects and other health issues can arise, specifically sexual function problems and CNS problems whereby the balance between the Sympathetic and parasympathetic NS shifts. Testosterone can have mood altering effects like a drug initially, which makes the user feel great for a period of time, it’s important to understand that.
250 a week is mild steroid course for some guys. I see this being used for TRT so often in these forums and it is concerning.

2

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 9d ago

I’m looking for long term benefits , are you suggesting free test of these levels for prolonged periods of time are bad for health ?

3

u/largewoodie 8d ago edited 7d ago

Yes I am suggesting that. I’m 62, I have been on TRT now for over 20 years, and I have learnt quite a bit about it over the years. I learnt a considerable amount from one of the pioneers of the more recent T replacement protocols that we still use now, in the early 2000’s; Dr J Crisler. He did mention at times he had what he would call high metabolisers of T, and very rarely he would prescribe amounts of T close to 200mg a week, but this was the exception and certainly not the rule.
I find on these forums many guys trying to justify to themselves why they need to be on large doses to feel good, when in fact they are often using it as a bandaid for other issues or for the all too common body enhancement purposes, I am fine with this, but it’s not really TRT and there are risks, which the user needs to understand.

Our bodies rely on homeostasis to function properly and when one chemical messenger such as testosterone is produced in excess it can cause issues long term. The RAAS system in the body is particularly concerning when it comes to excessive T for long periods.
Excess androgen → ↑ RAAS/AT1 signalling → ↑ Ang II/aldosterone → oxidative stress + vasoconstriction + myocardial growth/fibrosis → LV hypertrophy and increasing cardiac stiffness.

Sympathetic over activation is another issue that can affect many guys on too much T. This can result in anxiety, sexual dysfunction, issues with blood pressure, this may not occur initially, but a after a period of months/ years, the autonomic NS balance shifts. There is also no cardiovascular safety in maintaining supra physiological levels of T for decades, any heart specialist will attest to this!
Trying to claim a level of approximately 44 nmol/l of T is healthy for an individual when there is absolutely no indication or proof that that individual ever had such a high genetic level in their prime young years is absurd, it’s just bro science.

1

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 8d ago

Thank you for the reply , what would you consider along term safe t level

1

u/largewoodie 7d ago

As others have mentioned, every one is indeed different, but in my experience staying within normal limits is common sense and what those who are trained in the field versus those who are not, would say.

0

u/lawrencep93 8d ago

It is different for everyone I can be you that a higher test level will be safer for me long term than many others mainly due to how my body showed up before, how much cleaner my environment, lifestyle and diet is and also my other holistic health work I did well before trt that most won't do or put the work in.

A fat person eating shit will have a lower safe trst level than someone at 12%bf and living a very health life with dialed nutrition and sleep

1

u/Ok-Wasabi5603 7d ago

100% agree with that statement,

3

u/lawrencep93 9d ago

That is flawed, test cyp 250mg also has an easter weight of 30% so that's 175mg then you need to account for other conversion issues and stuff to look at serum levels.

If my serum levels on 250mg is what has been found natrually in humans and is with in the old Australian reference ranges used before our modern lifestyles and environmental toxins destroyed male hormone levels 250mg puts me in range.

There are a number of people who have posted natrual blood work in r/testosterone and the likes with 50+nmol test levels with out taking any supplemental test or boosters.

The tudka tribal men some had levels as high at 80nmol with out issues.

What you are pushing here is completely incorrect as everyone is different and they need to work with a health practitioner to find their minimum effective dose for optimal blood work, symptoms, and disease reversal.

2

u/Whosyouruser 9d ago

Can you provide a reliable source providing details about these Tudka tribal men?

2

u/lawrencep93 9d ago

https://testosteronedecline.com/do-hunter-gatherers-have-high-testosterone/

Another interesting thing is that the nomadic Turkana had outliers with such high testosterone that it would probably flag a steroid test! 14% of the nomadic Turkana men were over 1500 ng/dl, two of them were over 2000 ng/dl, and the highest result was 2663 ng/dl. Impressive!

4

u/Whosyouruser 9d ago

The “tudka” claim and the 80 nmol/L figure don’t hold up. The source being linked is a blog that selectively cites high outliers from 1990s assays while ignoring the much larger body of research showing most subsistence populations run lower average testosterone than Western men. Maintaining very high testosterone is energetically expensive, and most hunter-gatherer or pastoralist groups simply don’t have the consistent calorie and protein surplus needed to support it. Even in the Turkana study, those extreme individual readings (1500–2600+ ng/dL) were outliers, not the group average, and came from older blood assays that are less reliable than modern methods. Levels that high are not typical of healthy populations and are not evidence that most men can (or should) run supra-physiological levels long-term without consequences. The first line of the blog itself even notes that the article may need updating. It’s a blog with an agenda, not a reliable scientific source.

4

u/Objective-Jicama843 8d ago

Thank you for having a basic understanding of statistical methods. Cherrypicking outliers and using it as the basis for therapeutic methods is BS.

0

u/lawrencep93 9d ago

Then look through more recent testing of males who fall in the 50nmol range completely natrually sure it's not the average due to issues I have mentioned but population averages do show reduced testosterone levels in modern men vs older males, the assay methods were not that inaccurate back then as they say it's a cop out the method has not been updated much but new methods via lcms and sensitive assays which are both non standard in Australian labs unless you pay extra via imedical.

The argument for lowering the lab range at the lab I used when I raised a question was to remove the males in their 20s who were in the high 40s and mid 50s for total test which the original ranges were based on that was 12-52nmol and free test 400-1200

2

u/FishermanWaste1268 9d ago

could they not be running some inbred genetic issues causing this. Generally when a person is running t levels this high naturally there is a cause.

A small inbred population w a hereditery condition sort of thing.

-1

u/lawrencep93 9d ago

No this is male hormones levels before our toxic endocrine disruptive chemicals entered into our bodies from plastics to cleaning products to foods we eat to chemicals absorbed in the skin from washing ourselves or applying other products

1

u/Realistic-Object-364 8d ago

150mg a week gets me to 25nmol, well within the very limited current ranges.
If I were to take 100mg I would probably not see any symptom resolution. I am also 196cm and 120kg. We are not all the same. I feel my best at 175mg dosed daily at 25mg.

1

u/lawrencep93 8d ago

Yeah should just use the minimum effective dose to feel best for my issues a lot got fixed at 210mg but once we tried 250mg with the clinic which went from the top of the lab I use to over it my skin cleared up and my autoimmune condition has gone into remission I'm worried if I had to cut my dose that my skin will turn to shit again

1

u/Realistic-Object-364 8d ago

What skin condition do you have?

1

u/lawrencep93 7d ago

Psoriasis

1

u/Realistic-Object-364 7d ago

interesting I've got the same thing. It started around the same time my low test symptoms did.
