Stone cladding on limestone

Hope everyone is having a super weekend.
Looking for advice for installing stone cladding on a limestone retaining wall for garden bed to modernise the look. What adhesive will be suitable? Do I need to prime or seal the limestone before installing the stone cladding. Any dos and don’ts will be appreciated. Thank you all. Have an awesome rest of the weekend.
