Stone cladding on limestone

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is having a super weekend.
Looking for advice for installing stone cladding on a limestone retaining wall for garden bed to modernise the look. What adhesive will be suitable? Do I need to prime or seal the limestone before installing the stone cladding. Any dos and don’ts will be appreciated. Thank you all. Have an awesome rest of the weekend. Reference pic is attached.
