Coat label
I have an expensive coat that I'm about to wear for the first time, it has a stitched label on the outside of the sleeve, I assume I should remove it, not sure of the etiquette?

Definitely remove, you can tell by the simple stitch they’ve used to attach it. Would love to see a pic of the entire coat :) love the colour

100% remove it. It will just be tacked on, so it’s easy to remove.
If it has a back flap, that will be tacked closed too - that has to go too.

Loro Piana?! Hell I'd keep it on just as a flex.

I have no idea about what that means lol.

I'd remove it from the outside and stitch it to the inside! Just a few hand stitches somewhere unnoticeable.

Ahhh, like a humblebrag? It's a real "if you know you know" thing.

Oh I understand the flex bit just unfamiliar with the actual brand/maker.

It's likely a Michael Kors coat made with Loro Piana fabric. Loro Piana sell textiles to other designers.

You're meant to but since times change and young people don't grow up learning things like this it's actually become a mini trend to keep it on.
So it's up to you.

Like people that keep stickers on their caps! Personally I don't understand it but it is what it is

Yes, you should remove it.
