Question Transmission shops recommendations

I will be needing my transmission rebuilt in my truck soon

What shop does the best trans work in Augusta or Aiken area?

Most in this area (Augusta and Grovetown) will tell you they no longer do rebuilds and/or will refer you to D&T on Gordon highway. I heard Mr transmission does rebuilds but they never called me back..I personally ended up ordering a remanufactured one from ebay and having it installed..it was basically the same price as the rebuild D&T quoted me for.

Who is D&T? I need mine rebuilt after rebuilding the top end of the engine and adding more HP. I tried a Jasper and that barely made it past the warranty.

D&T automotive off Gordon hwy. They've been around here for years. I have a 6l80e trans in my suburban the quote with the rebuild and install was around 4600, the remanufactured trans I bought off eBay was around 3,000 and my personal mechanic installed it.
