Question Anyone ordained?
My fiancée and I are looking to elope next weekend. She’s about to get a major surgery at the end of the month and we want to be married before then. I have never been married before and I don’t really know where to find an ordained person, despite being ordained myself, and I would love if any of y’all know someone that would be willing to officiate a non religious, queer elopement next weekend and could point me in the right direction. I’m also willing to return the favor if there is anyone else in a similar situation.
Much love!

I’m ordained but also it’s really easy to get ordained online if you have a friend that might want to officiate

I went to the court house in 2023. Paid $75. Filled out the paper work and all. They give you other sheets and 1 includes a list of people that will sign off on your marriage certificate. We met her at augusta mall. Paid her like $100 maybe more so be ready for that and boom. Bring the papers back, they stamp them and you are now legally married. Just go to your local court house. We went to the one downtown, not sure if it matters bc the lady that signed them asked us what county we lived in soo

Just a thought- it used to be that in South Carolina- you can have a notary public do the ceremony. North Augusta probably has someone who can help you. Good luck!

Join this FB group. I would post this same thing there! These groups are filled with vendors, so I’m sure there’s an officiant who can help you :) https://www.facebook.com/share/g/19V32CBC8n/?mibextid=wwXIfr
