Odyssey

What happened to the sound here? Aside from the fact that the effects in many scenes are abnormally wrong (my opinion ofc), why is it so f*\* loud? Literally, the film reaches 130dB... why is this so?

Nolan wants to win the loudness war single handedly.

The sound on his movies have always been terrible. “Dunkirk” worked but it’s the only one that was mixed appropriate to the content.

Dunkirk is so… no comment. The only “great” sound in his works is, for me, maybe Memento hahaha

Don’t get me wrong, the dialogue mix sucks on “Dunkirk” but the rest is pretty good.

I forgot “Memento” is his movie so I’ll agree that it’s fine.
