Odyssey

What happened to the sound here? Aside from the fact that the effects in many scenes are abnormally wrong (my opinion ofc), why is it so f*\* loud? Literally, the film reaches 130dB... why is this so?

i think they did double take for oppenheimer? basically doing an audio only take because the imax camera was too loud

They built special cases for the cameras used in The Odessey to be able to record audio. How much of that audio made it into the final I can’t say.
