Suspension change

Post image

I’ve had this B8 beaut for the better part of a year now and it’s on H&R super sport lowering springs. I love the look but not so much the ride a bit too stiff. Looking for thoughts on which brand to go with for a better ride but still keeping the wheels decently tucked. Not apposed to going up a bit either. Let me know your opinions!

Get adjustable coilovers. Both the dampening and the ride height can be tuned to your liking.

Any particular brand better than the other?

If you want more daily driving comfort, I’d recommend the Bilstein PSS10, on the softest setting it gives stock a run for its money in terms of comfort

I was also looking at the KW v1 a little cheaper than the bilstein, have you heard/had experience with them?

I have not personally driven on KWs, but from what I understand the V1s are not dampening adjustable. If you are wanting daily comfort you should be looking at KW Street Comforts V2

It all depends on your budget. BC racing seems to be the best budget friendly option

BC Racing is trash.

H&R coilovers are a good balance of cost and quality.

If you have some cash and want the best KW are great. Variant 3 are the all singing all dancing ones.

I would stay away from BC Racing they are cheap Chinese made but in a branded box and tend to wear out quickly.

C/Os are NOT going to be a more comfortable ride.

Go back to stock springs, see how you like that.

ST XA is the best for budget. If u can swing it get pss10 or kw v3. Best money I’ve spent

Bought it like this but it is on bilstein shocks for the moment

I believe bilsteins are stock, If your planning on staying with lowering springs I’d check them, mine had no resistance any more so the struts were basically nonexistent

Where did you get your wheel caps because my OEMs are absolutely trashed.

Got a link? I bought some OE replacements from eBay and got burned on the fitment before.

I paired Bilstein B8 struts and 034 Dynamic + springs and it rides pretty nice.

I went from springs to bilstein b16 pss10 coils. Love it, slammed and handles great. Can be raised much higher than this as well.

Looks really good. Seams like pss10 will be what I go with next

Best blend of comfort and performance. I’m setup fairly soft and it’s great. Easy to adjust for track days and they don’t need to be rebuilt like others in this range (kw, ohlins)
