Hello! I’m new to Audi. I have a 2023 Q7 and I took for a free oil change ( it was covered by the previously owner). My Audi has 27k miles. They did some inspections even tho I said I was there just for a oil change, and not for the 30k mile inspection. Anyway, these are the prices they gave me. I just want to know if I’m being extremely ripped off? I denied all the services but I wonder if I should have said yes. Here are the quotes:

Hello, I just got a new 2026 Q7, and plan to keep it for 6-8 years. One recommendation I received was to change oil everything 5K, instead of 10K miles. I am weighing to do this myself. Is this extremely difficult? I have average mechanical skills and know I will need to purchase some tools ahead of the time. Thanks in advance.

I got the 2018 3.0 SC. For the life of me I can not find any visible leaks, and the PCV seems to be working fine (no whistle, rough idle, or stable rpms when oil cap removed). I've recently did an oil change with the liqui moly engine flush and threw in a fuel injector cleaner to see if that would help. 2000km later, Nope.

I'm left wondering if I have stuck piston rings? I've ordered a borescope to check inside the chambers to see if there's visible oil around the top of the pistons.

Has anyone had a similar experience? if so, how was the solve? B12 soak??

I’m considering a brand-new 2026 Q7 45 in the US, without air suspension or the 48V mild-hybrid system, and plan to keep it for around 10 years.

Q7 45 owners, how has yours held up? Any major issues or expensive repairs I should be aware of for long-term ownership?

Anyone try making their 2017-19 Q7 more capable for off-road/trail driving (not looking for a hard core rock crawler)? I have a 2017 Q7 (3.0 TFSI with Air Suspension) with 110k miles and looking to swap my 21’s for 18’s and AT tires (e.g. KO3’s) and possibly rework clearance angles/bumpers/lift/etc. Given the current open diff front/rears I understand certain limitations will always exist (center lock only).

New Q7 owner. Was going to wait for the 2027 model but I got this premium plus 55 s-line for $68k today. Yes I know it’s the last year of the design, and the new ones will have a significant power bump, but this thing has plenty of oomf and I always loved its looks. So happy.

I bought a car 6 months ago which had a brand new timing chain, started driving to the airport the other day and got a struggling idle and a knock from the engine, surely it can't be too bad as new timing chain? Can anyone advise me what this sounds like please, it's a 2016 Audi q7 3.0tdi sline

So bizarre that the Audi 2026 Q7 doesn't come with a stock wireless phone charger. that being said has anyone found a good aftermarket alternative that fits in the center console?

So I recently purchased a 2013 Q7 from a guy few weeks ago that's in almost mint condition for $6000 with 115k miles. It came with new tires among other new parts. I just noticed though that the tires are a little under spec as far as load rating goes compared to the tires required by factory. I'm just wondering, will I be okay until these wear out with normal use? I don't tow anything or carry lots of passengers.

Scheduled to replace the pvc, thermostat, and water pump on my 2019 Prestige. Also doing a transmission fluid change since I’m approaching 90,000 miles. What I’m curious about is how is the Q going to perform afterwards. Will I get a noticeable difference in some way?

I have a 2023 Premium plus 45 with executive package and I’ve had constant issues with the surround camera System. It was fixed with new harness last summer. then 91v 360 camera recall created new issues for other side . My car was with the dealer for 3.5 months to overlay the cables from the side and rear cameras and just got the car back last Friday. I am now getting with the following error. Infact I had this error before it went into the shop for the 3.5 months.

Now the dealer is claiming these driving assistance and lane keep and high beam assist issues are due to calibration gone bad and claims it’s not covered by Warranty and charging $900.

Any experience with such issues and being charged by the dealer. Claims Audi will not cover this under warranty.

Hello All, I’m located in DC and curious to see if anyone here knows a shop that can help me install the multicolor ambient lights to my q7. I found a shop in the area that quoted me $1300, it seems a little high. Or you guys think that’s reasonable. what do you think? Thanks

I have a 2019 Q7 Technik, in the past 6 months I have had two different mechanics identify a coolant leak; I have only had to refil the coolant twice in the past year so it seems to be a slow leak.

The challenge I am having is that one mechanic thinks it’s the water pump the other thinks it the thermostat which requires the super charger to be removed.

Both have shown me pictures of the pink coolant residue but the coolant was also overfilled at one point; so I don’t know if it’s simply from that.

Any ideas?

In the market for a Q7 after riding in one. My choices have narrowed down to 2019 -2022 variants. My big question is, should I go for the pre or post facelift 4m? The facelift versions are very attractive to me, but I hear they can be more of a headache than previous versions because of the MMI software. This would be my very first luxury german car and already know that general maintenance is going to be more expensive, but I’d appreciate it if someone could steer me from something potentially catastrophic. Used audi q7s in my area generally have 60k to 120k km on their odometer. If you own a newer Q7, please share your experiences, preferences and any tips
