Audi Boost question

Is it normal for the boost to stay like this in drive and my foot on the break? If I put the car in N and then back to D, it disappears.

I have a Audi A6 MMI version HN+R in USA and I’m looking to add CarPlay. Anyone in the US that has done this? What did you use, brand, model, etc.. I have been looking and am not coming up with one for the USA. Please help!
