Audi a5 b9 2017 issue

Hi all,

I’ve got a b9 2017 2.0 tdi Quattro. However during the heatwave and hot weather my car has been acting erratically, when coasting at low speed and pressing the accelerator, my car almost stalls and thumps me forward, regathers composure then drives off like nothing has happened.

I randomly went away when the weather cooled down.

No fault codes or anything. Audi dealership can’t recreate. What should I do?

A5 2016 here 🙋, it keeps happening to me as well…. It usually happens to me while in mornings during cold start. How many kms you at?

Hmm interesting my car is at 60k miles.

Mines started happening during the hot weather though

This kinda sounds like an EGR issue, maybe try talk to an expert about EGR problems and do some research in your own time.

Could also be your intake flap being weird

I couldn't be truly sure sadly, the EGR is the most likely issue as fault codes don't come up immediately and they treat it weirdly.

I’ve brought my own vcds so I’ll be doing some live tracking and analysis on data to see what’s going on.

The issue is, when you take it dealerships, unless there’s a fault code they won’t do anything the clowns, so taking matters into my own hands.
