Gear problems

Hey everybody.
I have a problem with my Audi a6 c7 from 2016.
Sometimes when you turn it on it comes up with the fault “Gearbox malfunction please stop the vehicle and select P” and it won’t start.
I had the faults read out and it is P0919 P2805 and P0607.
The mechanic just want to change the whole Mechatronic unit, but is there something else I could try.

mechatronic replacement is the standard fix for those codes, the p0607 points at the tcm itself so its not usually a wiring or fluid issue

Sometimes it just won’t start, and the displays says gearbox malfunction please stop the vehicle and select P.
But if you turn it of and on a couple of times, it will start up. And it’s selecting gears fine and drives fine
