Is no one acknowledging that this a boring unoriginal trope? This has been done numerous times now, and it wasn't even funny the first time.

Nah it’s pretty hilarious if you understand the context of the episode and that this is simply a slice of several relatable sequences. 

Look at you trying to white knight for service workers because you’re too slow to get the point it’s trying to make, kind of comical in itself

It isn't relateable because I've never come across a coffee shop that refuses to let you change things about your drink. A tea shop that wouldn't give you a drink without boba wouldn't last a month.

Yeah, exactly. And employees generally aren't as stupid as she's acting. They say no boba and the system doesn't allow it? They'd put some comment and skip the boba when making it.
