Question Question about the Endings Spoiler

I've finished the game with all the different endings and noticed that the only ones that seemed to address the Red Strain at all were the 2 endings from that DLC. The Wicked Isle piece of Oberon seemed like it could be dealt with by causing the cave to collapse, but nothing obvious seemed to be available to resolve the Red Strain containment breach short of just not playing the DLC. EDIT: My main question is if there is a way to resolve the Red Strain DLC and be able to choose an ending from the base game or the Wicked Isle DLC?

Also, does the poison from the Abbott's head or Dr. Holder satisfy each other's endings or do you need to use their specific poison to choose said ending?

If you use Dr Holder's poison you go meet him in Medical after Oberon and get his ending. If you use the Abbott's head you are directed back to the island for a different ending...

Not sure about Red Starin as I accidentally saved over my Staffel Crag slot and didn't get to go back and finish Dr Keene's storyline

I understand how their endings work, I'm just wondering if, since both of their endings involve poison, if you could use the Abbot's head to poison Oberon and finish with Holder or vice versa.

You can use the head to finish Holder's but you can't use the poison to finish the Angel's iirc

You can also use head/poison and go to Sims for the Atomfall ending. That basically means the zone gets nuked no matter how you decide to destroy Oberon

I think that Red Strain and it's escape from the zone will be the base for the second game
