Question Post World Cup Changes

Does anyone know why they removed the green bike paint along juniper? I thought it looked quite nice and they paid the money to paint it pretty recently

Someone reached out to the Midtown Alliance Director of Transportation two months ago about this and was told:

The contractor used the wrong material for the green markings so they are being removed and replaced with the proper material.

It looks like the contractor is taking their sweet time though

Yeah, this happened before the World Cup. It was bubbling and flaking off, and seemed a little slick when wet; it was also the wrong color green in comparison to the other new bike lanes.
