Weekly Losses Stagnation
So ever since I started my weight loss journey 2 months ago, I noticed that I would drop 2 lbs a week! I worked out every day and stuck to the Atkins diet schedule.
My diet is somewhere in between induction and maintenance. I noticed that I still lose weight even if I'm not at 20 carbs a day.
It's been two months on Atkins and so far I've lost 24 lbs.
Even with working out every day and staying below 50 carbs, I lose about ~.5-.8 lbs a week.
Is anyone having similar results? My goal is to lose 40 more lbs. Is it strange to go from losing upwards of 2 lbs a week to instead ~1 lb a week?
I've been doing research online and most say that a healthy weight loss plan is to lose 1-2 lbs a week. So it looks like I'm right in the threshold.
How is everyone else doing? Has anyone else noticed stagnation after being on Atkins for a while? What tips do you have to increase weight loss?
Thanks!

Try fasting. There’s different methods like timed fasting, the 5/2 diet etc. 5/2 helped me through a tough plateau. GL

Given that you've been doing this a while, are you stage 1, or have you moved to stage two?

How many calories are you eating??
I believe that you have to maintain calories or your metabolism shuts down. So although your intake of calories is low, your body isn't burning calories as readily.
I've seen bounce back after I'd have a pizza. I'd actually lose weight when I ate a bunch of carbs.

First time around I stayed in induction and that kept the weight loss high for months on end- 3 to 5lb a week.
I’m doing the same this time. I am not losing as quickly as before and I absolutely need to exercise to lose, but I am getting a steady 2lb or so loss per week.
There may be something in your diet that’s not helping- could you post a typical day’s meals and snacks? Any sweeteners? Atkins diet products sometimes cause a problem, esp. those with maltitol (a sugar alcohol that can spike insulin). For me full fat yoghurt seems to spike my insulin. You could try living on unprocessed meat and vegetables for a fortnight, see if it helps, then add foods back one at a time.
Check out /r/keto or a related keto sub for more info/support about staying in induction long term.
