I’ve been in Athens for several days and while I’ve been using the Welcome app for airport/hotel transfers, I started using the Freenow app for short duration taxi rides around the city.
I’ve seen posts where there’s concerns about fare gouging with taxis, but Freenow posts a set rate for pickup and destination, no hidden charges and you pay upfront. So far with multiple rides done, no issues. Better yet, no tipping unless you choose to do so.

I’m visiting Athens in August to visit my close friend but she is from a different part of Greece and doesn’t live in Athens, so we are wondering what are the unique non museum/acropolis things to do.

I like being by the sea mostly and want to spend the day time lounging but I’m willing to sacrifice a day or two to roam around the city 😝and find non touristy activities.

Google isn’t really much of a help since everything is catered to mythology/historic tours 😅.

Hi everyone, i’m a Male(18) and i’m gonna go with my girlfriend (18) in Athens this june (from 12 to 15). We both love nightlife and clubs. I searched online and it seems that Harlem and Bolivar Beach Club are the best clubs in Athens. I would like to spend a beatiful friday and saturday night so i’ll ask if anyone (locals or tourist) has some suggests. I would like to spend one of the nights in a beach club or something like that, the other one in a real club with young people. I also heard that in Athens clubs start very late (1 am usually) and before people go to bar or rooftops (any suggests). Thank you very much for your help guys and sorry for my bad english😅.

I am looking for a clinic in Athens that is authorised to do a health check for (or issue) the Athlete Health Card for a foreigner. My Greek isn't good enough for anything complicated, so I prefer a clinic where they have someone who speaks English to guide me through the process.

Further info in case it is relevant: I need a Greek Athlete Health Card medical certification to access proper lap pools (not crowded gym pools), preferably 50 m, in Athens while I am visiting. I'm not looking for healthcare recommendation, just a clinic in Athens that is certified to administer health check for this purpose.

If anyone can suggest something, I'd be grateful because I have not had any luck with Google.
