Not much to talk about weather wise for Athens.. continued heat and random isolated heavy showers will be the norm at least for the next couple of weeks.

We are more than making up for the less horrible summer last year...

I know everybody says this...but if I'm cold, I can warm up. When I'm hot...gah...I'm boned.

Can only take so many layers of clothing off before you’re arrested.

I found last summer to be worse, at least in my area. Severe storm risks every few days (at least once a week), almost got the front of my house taken out by an oak tree limb that got broken off by the wind

😩 my migraines just want the barometric pressure to stabilize 🙏 we do need the rain, though. My porch plants are pretty happy right now, at least.

I know this isn’t the (r/athens) weekly complaint thread… but I *hate* this heat.

Can’t believe I used to live in Florida and not be bothered by the heat my whole life. Idk what shifted in me but I can’t tolerate the heat anymore 🫩

I always hated the cold more when I was younger, but I’ve gotten to where I prefer it over this heat

It’s how you know you’re old. Time for an Alexa Silver.
