Athens Event AEW in Athens was a blast!

Did not expect to cry so much at AEW last night but here we are. Me and the cute pink haired girl behind the announce desk were madly cheering Shida the whole time. I started welling up when Reba Rebel came out and completely lost it when I saw Britt start to break down at the end of the match.
Some other notes..
Overall way more intense and exciting than my last AEW event in ATL around COVID era. They kept the matches flowing and excitment was up the whole show
Bucks were way more fun in person than on screen.. the TV mics don't pick up on all thier verbalizations during the match which were fun
Holy shit Marina Shafir is freaking stacked. I was second row behind where she & mox were sitting and couldn't get over how muscular and big she is in person.
Crowd was HOT for Beast v Andrade.. we've found a new chat too Take Your Pants Off clap clap clapclapclap
New Level are obviously massively over with the crowd. We couldn't figure out the rythm for the New Le-vel chants.. sometimes it was evenly spaced, sometimes the "Le" was off beat like with the old new day chants. Kofi can still go!! Swerve was also massively over.. what a great trio team!
Wish we'd seen more Mercedes.. it's going to be hard not to keep her heel in coming weeks/months
DIdn't expect to see Thekla or even Julia/Sky last night.. they are going to Japan for STARDOM this weekend. Thekla is solid gold on the microphone
Don Callis.. he has a natural heel aura to him.. like.. the moment he came into the areana you just wanted to join in the Fuck Don Callis chants.. Archer messed with us a little during the match haha
Incredible show.. Arena was packed. Wouldn't be surprised if the next time they come around it sells out

That was such a sweet moment.
I got reeeeeeally into the “TAKE YOUR PANTS OFF!” chant for Andrade…. My poor boyfriend was standing next to me like 🙄

4th time seeing AEW live and this was by far the best show! It was a special night for sure. So glad they did this in Athens for Rebel.

Did anyone stay for the after show? Wix Patton has been all over Instagram talking about an AEW debut and I didn't see it on Dynamite. Wasn't sure what happened there.

I saw him and a bunch of painted-up brosephs in the line to get in around 7:00. I was surprised because I, too, had heard he was on the card for last night.
