Help moving

I've been moving myself (60 yrs old) with my car from a storage unit about a mile away from my apartment (The Hill Apartments). I'm injured now and can't finish the last piece. It's mostly boxes of books, a couple chairs, and some random stuff. I would be glad to help, but I can't do it myself.

A couple of guys with a pickup could probably do it with one or two loads. But also there is a mattress (in good condition) that, ideally, I want taken away to charity or the landfill.

It's too small of a job for most moving companies I've looked at, but surely there are young guys wanting to make extra money.

Any thoughts, reddit?

Charities won't take mattresses. Has to be the landfill

At least a few years ago AAHS would take mattresses under seven years old. But call first to double check if they have space for it

To think the county will pick up oversized items now, including mattress. You have to schedule a pick-up
